The irony, of course, is that throughout his life, Warbucks was only imprisoned briefly, for the double vehicular homicide that left an unknown girl orphaned. He would never be tried for his innumerable crimes of labor busting, war profiteering, bribery of public officials, and selling secrets to the Nazis.
